Anyone who is a mother,
guardian or expectant mother of multiples
may join our club. Our membership is
comprised of stay at home moms and working
moms. We have members in El Dorado
County, Sacramento County and Placer County.
We currently have 174 members families.
Here are some of the
advantages of being a member:
Newsletters.
You will receive an informative monthly
newsletter from the club and a quarterly
newsletter from the National Organization
for Mothers of Twins Clubs, Inc. (NOMOTC).
Library.
You will have access to our library and be
able to check out books dealing with a
variety of "multiples" issues from pregnancy
through child-rearing years.
Social Events.
We have monthly socials for moms; a Holiday
party, Harvest festival, and Summer party
for the whole family and special Mom/Dad
socials.
Playgroups.
We offer three different
playgroups. Most groups meet bi-weekly.
Infants/Expecting
moms
Toddler
All ages:
Usually a weekly park outing for everyone.
Buddy Program.
New moms are assigned a "big sister" to help
guide them and offer friendship and support.
Meal Program.
This program is available to new moms and
moms in need of assistance due to surgery or
injury. Members volunteer to cook a meal
and deliver it.
Preemie Closet.
We have a selection of
preemie clothing that members may borrow if
needed.
Semiannual Clothing and
Equipment Sale.
Membership allows you to
participate in our Fall and Spring C & E
sale where you may sell your used children's
clothing, toys and equipment as well as
maternity clothes on a consignment basis.
Prospective members are
welcome to check out our Mom's socials and
playgroups and will receive two free monthly
newsletters.
Our membership year runs from
July 1st to June 30th each year.
We offer a discount to members joining
after January 1st and for families who have
twins who are school age. Membership dues are as follows:
Families joining from July 1st trough
December 31st who have unborn multiples up
to 5 years of age:
$35/year which includes
membership to National.
Families joining from January 1st through
June 30th with multiples of all ages:
$22 for the remainder of the
membership year.
For our H.O.T.T. Moms
we offer a discounted membership.
H.O.T.T. MoMs are moms who Have Older
Twins and Triplets. Dues for joining with multiples 5 years or older as of July 1,
2007: $24 per year.
